A Note on Asymptotics Associated with Limit Theorem for Terminating Renewal Process in Processor Sharing Queue

We give a simple proof of an asymptotic result associated with terminating renewal process in the M/G/1 queue under egalitarian processor sharing. The proof gives insight into the principles
according to which the time–dependent solution is obtained for the queue length at time t.
